Testimonials on Our Rope Swings
'Growing old is compulsory; growing up is optional.'
Learning to swing is a rite of passage for children the world over, and once they can swing confidently, your little ones will grow into our swings and beyond into adulthood, (and we bet they won’t be able to resist a go when they come home either, however grown up they get!)
Hand-made from beautiful British Oak all you have to do is find the right place to hang it; the branch of a tree, a pergola or our own Oak ‘A’ frame, available in single, or double, for two rope swings side by side.
Choose from single or double seat swings too with optional carved inscriptions: names, dates, sayings or quotations are all very popular. We also have a round single rope swing for real adventurers!

Dear Siobhan and Martin,
I just wanted to write and
personally thank you for the beautiful hand carved wedding swing you
provided us with. The swing was an absolutely perfect wedding gift to my
husband on our big day – he was delighted. Please see attached one of the
amateur photographs taken by a friend of ours on the day- as requested. We
cannot wait to see the professional photos now - some with the wedding
party around us and the swing. Many of our guests commented on what a
thoughtful and unusual gift the swing is – even our florist asked for your
website!
Thanks Again,
Karen and Lee Pinchbeck

Can't tell you how pleased I am with my lovely oak swing - it's so beautifully made and looks great in the garden. Felix (my 3 year old grandson) and I fit on the wide seat very comfortably and I know its going to be much loved for many years.
The carriers were very friendly and set the swing up very quickly without any fuss and the whole thing has worked out just perfectly.
Kind regards.

Just to say how delighted we
are with the beautiful swing. The quality of the oak, the carving and the
ropes all make it a pleasure to use. It's hanging from an oak tree
overlooking a beautiful view towards Dartmoor, looking as if it's been there
forever, and it will be much-loved by generations! Thanks for keeping this
lovely birthday present secret, and for doing it so well.
All good wishes,
Amanda Craig

We love our swing - average age of user 42.

"The swing was a special purchase from mother to daughter but what makes your swing seats so very special is the craftsmanship and the personal inscriptions, which made it possible for me to give my daughter a swing inscribed with the title of a poem written by her Great Grandmother entitled ' Time To Sit And Dream'. My daughter is about to become a young woman and the swing fits the mood and timing perfectly as does the inscription. It is absolutely beautiful and I am very grateful to you, as is my daughter Clara, whom is named after her Great Grandmother. With our thanks and best wishes." Mrs Susan Carson
Just wanted to let you know that our swing arrived safely in Switzerland and is now in place. I am delighted with it and my little daughter Lara has been swinging away on it at all hours of the day and night! I have been having a swing too and reliving my childhood ...
Thank you so much! Fiona Mallin, Switzerland

My son and grandson in the mountains of North Carolina.
We found the quality of materials and workmanship to be excellent and the system of hanging well designed and easy to use. It is exactly what we have been looking for over several years. We love it!

The swing hangs in all it's simplicity from a tree in our garden. It has
embedded itself as a natural object in the landscape whilst drawing all ages
of children to it's welcoming seat and evoking strong childhood memories
amongst visiting adults
With kind regards,

We all love the
swing, it is a real feature in the garden. Everyone rushes straight to
it when they visit! Here are a couple of
photos........ even the venue for "new term" photo was at the swing! Regards

Best wishes,

Our swing looks gorgeous, and is in a
gorgeous setting. We love it and everyone says it looks stunning!

'Sitting Spiritually' could not be a better name for the simple old rope
swing remembered from a happy Herefordshire childhood! One simple purchase
of my swing beat hours of so-called retail therapy. What is it about
swinging to and fro?
It puts life in perspective and probems in their place. Am so enjoying
my swing! Yours, June Davey
